During iExperience Darius has been learning about the properties and uses of Oxygen.
Firstly Darius learnt that all living things need Oxygen. He showed great capability in being able to explain what determines something that is living. Next he participated in a range of experiments that showed the different properties of Oxygen.
Darius demonstrated great curiosity by asking lots of questions and making accurate predictions. He also made connections with the new learning through experiments and being able to describe different processes.
During the experiments Darius managed himself while participating, making sure he was always in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.

This term Darius has been learning to make predictions during reading workshops.
Darius has been working to make predictions by looking at the title and the picture on the cover of the book, as well as re-predicting and revising predictions during reading.
Darius actively participated and contributed in many workshops, initially showing his capability of making predictions from the covers of shared stories. Darius then worked collaboratively with others listening to their predictions and sharing his own with them.
After making connections and taking clues from the stories, Darius was able to confidently apply his learning in order to make predictions on a variety of stories.
